CBA Clergy Badges
Trusted identification for pastoral care, hospital visitation, and ministry presence.
CBA CLERGY BADGES
Are you a pastor, minister, or clergy leader serving in a CBA congregation and seeking recognized identification for pastoral care and ministry access?
The Cleveland Baptist Association (CBA) clergy badge provides recognized identification for ministers serving within CBA congregations and ministry settings. It supports hospital visitation, institutional access, pastoral care, and trusted public witness throughout our region, and may also assist with clergy access privileges such as reduced or validated parking during visitations where available.
This badge also reflects our shared commitment to Christ-centered leadership, ethical ministry, and accountable service. Each badge includes a QR code that links to a secure verification record confirming active clergy status with the CBA.

How to Order Your CBA Clergy Badge
Please take a moment to review the purpose and expectations for the CBA clergy badges, and follow the steps below so the process can be completed smoothly.

Review the Purpose and Guidelines
The badge is for ministers who are:
-
Actively connected to a CBA congregation or approved ministry setting
-
In good standing with their church and the CBA
-
Committed to the Covenant and Code of Ethics for Ministerial Leaders of American Baptist Churches, USA
-
Approved by their senior pastor (or senior church leadership if there is no senior pastor)
Churches may submit group orders for multiple clergy badges at the same time. A completed registration form and photo for EACH clergy person must be submitted at the time of the order.
The badge is valid for three years and is to be used only for ministry-related purposes such as hospital visitation, pastoral care, and community engagement.
If ministry status or congregational connection changes, the badge must no longer be used and should be securely destroyed or returned to the CBA.
